Job Responsibilities

Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Providing technical support to end users and resolve issues by responding in a timely manner
Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software issues
Preparing and maintaining IT Inventory
Ensuring the critical and security updates are properly deployed to end user devices
Assisting with all ad hoc projects as assigned
Preparing and maintaining proper documentation of related work area

Educational Requirements

B.Sc in any discipline, preferably in Computer Science, from any recognized university
Certification on System and Network administration would be added advantage

Additional Requirements

Must be technically skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and network problems
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a team
Ability to follow processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Knowledge on LAN/WAN design and implementation using enterprise routers and switches would be added advantage
