Job Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Providing technical support to end users and resolve issues by responding in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software issues
- Preparing and maintaining IT Inventory
- Ensuring the critical and security updates are properly deployed to end user devices
- Assisting with all ad hoc projects as assigned
- Preparing and maintaining proper documentation of related work area
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc in any discipline, preferably in Computer Science, from any recognized university
- Certification on System and Network administration would be added advantage
Additional Requirements
- Must be technically skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and network problems
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to follow processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Knowledge on LAN/WAN design and implementation using enterprise routers and switches would be added advantage
